Phone Mount
« on: March 04, 2021, 02:47:28 PM »
Looking to mount my phone to my sled so the trail app is available without having to stop and take the phone out of a pocket. Bar mount would be preferable so I wouldn't have to drill holes in the plastic. Any recommendations?

I'd look for a RAM mount for 7/8 motorcycle bars.    https://www.rammount.com/shop-all/motorcycle/phone-mounts

Stay away from the "X" mount and go with the "Quick Grip" be aware that the battery is going to tank quickly in the cold so you will want to have power to the phone.
If your phone has wireless charging you may want to consider a Ram mount that does wireless charging as well.

I understand the dilemma. Correct spelling takes time that could be spent licking the windows on the short bus.

There are small heater pads available also to keep the battery warm if that becomes a problem. (common)
