Last time thinkster checked in, he said he lived in Southern WI and actually purchased a sled last season, after being out of it for all these years.
Don't think I've seen any posts since....

Greetings all!   Hope everyone is doing well.

Had a good year last year, just over 2k miles.

This past spring traded in the flame throw'n, high idle'n El Tigre on a new Cat with the upgraded 800 engine and on-the-fly shock adj.

Had some early snow this year so I've got 30 miles on just buzzing around the farm.

Some picks to show how sleds have progressed over they years....

You're not the dalai lama of sled appraisals bro    :beer2:
You never see a snowmobile parked in front of a Psychiatrist office.

Holy smokes, it's been a long, long time.   I was going through some of my old bookmarks and came across my snowmobile folder, thought I would see if I recognize any names.    Everyone is still here!

Hope everyone is doing well.

I don't ride anymore after double hip replacement, but I think about the old days quite a bit.

It was good to ride with some of you folks, what a great time.   I'll have to venture back in here again soon.

Regardless of reason, It's always a little sad to me when I read or hear someone has quit sledding.

We are all getting older. I will be turning 73 this month and losing arm strength. Had to buy a sled lift so I can still get the rear dolly on and off my sled. All my riding friends are either dead or have quit sledding.

Cant remember exactly where about you hang your hat but Forest Lake is 2 1/2 hours from downtown Poplar (nearest zip code  ;) )
40 inches of snow in the last two weeks and a little more on the way overnight.  Only need 40 inches to reach our annual avg.
