?? I Phone 7: Health App ??
« on: September 27, 2017, 08:47:07 AM »
I bought a I7  2 weeks ago. I use the Health app to keep track of my morning walk. It doesn't give a constant step count or distance in 100ths of a mile like the Pedometer I had downloaded and used on my Android. At the end it will eventually give me a accurate total, but I like the instant counting/update. Is there a setting I need to change, or is it the way it works?

Just get a Fitbit with the heart rate feature.

Sorry, no help on Apple. Can't stand them.
The best fix would be go back to Android, Samsung S-Health.
Fitbit is a small wristband with many features (steps, distance, calories, time, sleep amount, heart rate) and can connect to your I7 or Android.
I do my 15,000 to 17,000 steps once or twice a week. I always send a screenshot of my S-Health on my phone to my wife to prove it. Even calculates when I mow the lawn. Oh, that is on a J Deere rider!  :punk:

I could download the same pedometer to my apple that I have on my android. I may do that yet. As far as fitbit, I don't need another piece of tech on my person. Really just hoping a I Phone user can answer my original ?.

Dave,
The fit bit while being yet another piece of tech, has an outstanding application that goes with it to help track (works on Iphone and Android, etc).  The app is what makes fit bit one of the best.
