My boys don't like. I'm sure that will change. It is kind of nice having beer on tap anytime you want it. However, after a while I have to limit myself and take a few days off.

that's what good single malt scotch and fine bourbons are for...  seriously, when I'm on a bourbon/scotch kick I actually drink substantially less cuz I sip the scotch (or bourbon) and enjoy the wonderful flavors of it...  a bottle of scotch lasts me WAY longer than a case of beer does...  over the course of a month I could spend about $40 on cheap beer, a bottle of good scotch costs about $60 and usually last me about 2 months...  also a ton less calories...  and I'm down about 30lbs so far as well...  should break the 200 barrier by christmas...

Bourbon - weight watchers diet, huh......
Get so drunk, you forget to eat......

calories is the really bad thing about homebrews...  after doing the math on a few of my creations I figured some of them to be about 300 cal per pint...  far cry from the 120 cal pint of guiness

You've insired me to check CL for my kid. Found a 1988 Excell 340 for $250 looks to be in good shape. Might give the dude a call to see if he still has it, but I'm leaving in two days for vacation, so if he still has it in 1 1/2 weeks, maybe I'll try to make a deal with him on it...

If all good that is a steel. It will not be there when you get back. I thought mine was a steel.

You were right, sled is long gone. Sold it the same day he posted it on CL. You  :sleep_1: you loose....

At NIU in 1993 the Skull house had a scale at the front door. Any college girl weighing over 140 was not allowed inside.  :bye1:
They got into massive trouble for that stunt and eventually lost their chapter.  I'd say 180 would be REAL fat......

As for the enticer, 310 sounds heavy for that sled. I remember being able to pick up those things pretty darn easy. I'd be surprised if they were much over 200.

Dave is a very smart man!! Can't wait to visit the FLI again this year....  :punk:

Skull house at NIU was a riot.  Couple of dorm neighbors were members They had the best parties for frats near campus.   Their best party was during the winters they had a couple truck loads of sand delivered and put in the basement party room for a beach party and wet t-shirt contest, shirt optional.  They also had a barber's chair for doing upside down margaritas.
Although, there were a fair amount of skulls that ended up at the our place for after hours parties too, eh.. :punk:

They need to bring back a sled that size with a 450 4-stroke single motor in it.

I think the Freestyle was the closest thing to a modern day sled in that size. It had modern day suspension but slightly smaller than a REV or XP. I wonder how a freestyle would go with the Phazer 4 stroke in it or the new ACE.
while I understand why doo dropped the freestyle, I think they were on to something...  I really hope Premier is successful with their little 4s entry sleds...  its an unserviced niche that will help build sleddings future...  my boys want a freestyle somethin BAD...
my kids love the freestyle ...............and its about 300 pounds

Oh, well maybe you should show up when we're up there.  I noticed they have even renamed a bar in Mercer "Porkies"  - I'll have to sled in this winter with my favorite Porker shirt on this season.

That little Yamaha is cool. But this maybe the nicest looking older sled I have ever seen. And it is in better than new condition.

Uuuuuh! Now that is a sled. Hard to believe it is original and unrestored. Can't imagine what it's worth if it is original. I was afraid he wasn't goin to go over and rev it up. That is sweet!!!
BEER is the answer!
What was the question again???
